Job Description
The Clinical Psychologist will provide high-quality psychological services to clients through both telehealth and in-person settings. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating a variety of mental health issues. The Clinical Psychologist will work collaboratively with clients and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
Assessment and Diagnosis
- Conduct thorough psychological assessments and diagnose mental health conditions.
- Utilize standardized assessment tools, interviews, and observations to gather relevant client information.
- Develop professional psychological and neuropsychological assessments for clients with cognitive and organic disorders using recognized and standardized psychometric techniques.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide professional advice on psychological aspects.
Treatment Planning and Implementation
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs.
- Collaborate with clients to set therapeutic goals and utilize evidence-based interventions.
- Provide a variety of psychological and behavioral therapies; design, develop, and implement formal psychological treatment/management plans including specialized interventions.
- Evaluate and propose treatment options considering theoretical and therapeutic models.
- Manage assessment, treatment, and discharge processes responsibly.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions using various modalities.
- Utilize approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or others tailored to client needs.
Mental Health Awareness
- Support and guide individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
- Raise awareness about mental health issues within the community.
- Participate in mental health awareness sessions as needed.
- Coordinate and facilitate access to mental health services and resources.
- Develop and implement educational programs about mental health.
- Collaborate with mental health professionals and organizations.
Crisis Intervention
- Assess and manage clients in crisis situations effectively.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies and coordinate with emergency services when necessary.
Collaboration with Healthcare Providers
- Work with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, sharing relevant client information while maintaining confidentiality.
- Provide guidance, advice, and training to staff and stakeholders to ensure high-quality clinical psychology services in line with standards and regulations.
- Ensure access to a psychologically-based framework within the clinical team for better client care.
Professional Development and Compliance
- Maintain professional competency and adhere to ethical standards.
- Engage in ongoing education, training, and supervision, staying updated on relevant regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all professional and ethical standards.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Skills
- Proficient in psychological assessment tools and therapeutic techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Experience with telehealth services is highly desirable.

- Ability to work with diverse client groups.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English languages.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology.
