Job description

The position is responsible for developing and implementing the long-term and short-term marketing and financial strategies for the brand(s). The role requires extensive interaction with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Brand Management
  • Developing integrated communication strategies to enhance brand equity and preference.
  • Managing media planning and resource utilization efficiently.
  • Overseeing marketing, advertising, and promotional activities and staff.
  • Understanding product positioning and brand communication using integrated tools.
  • Formulating business plans to achieve profitability.
  • Developing brand positioning strategies aligned with brand objectives.
  • Ensuring brand strategies are implemented across all stores and territories.
  • Collaborating with media groups for communication themes.
  • Working with stakeholders to educate and build the brand.
  • Implementing strategies to build and maintain a customer database.
Promotions & Events
  • Recommending promotions and events in consultation with brand custodians.
  • Ensuring timely development and approval of communication materials.
  • Forecasting footfall and sales increases during promotions to evaluate ROI.
In-store & Outdoor Media Planning
  • Securing prime outdoor advertising locations.
  • Meeting seasonal and campaign timeframes.
  • Negotiating favorable rates and ensuring regular updates of outdoor media.
  • Maintaining brand image consistency across media.
  • Proposing innovative POS materials and store branding solutions.
Budgeting & Planning
  • Preparing and managing the annual marketing budget.
  • Developing marketing calendars and product catalogs.
  • Monitoring budget utilization and making recommendations.
Media Management
  • Coordinating media buying with corporate marketing.
  • Tracking and reviewing advertising effectiveness.
  • Setting agency deliverables and approvals.
Market Research
  • Conducting market research on customer preferences and buying patterns.
  • Evaluating media campaign effectiveness and setting research goals.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Negotiating with vendors and media groups.
  • Creating opportunities for co-branding and cross-promotions.
  • Managing PR and media coverage strategies.
  • Overseeing loyalty programs and membership strategies.
  • Representing brands at media and marketing events.
