  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate Vehicle Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality, Supplier Quality, Service, Supply Chain, Purchasing and Program teams to align ownership, timing, resources and closure evidence.
  • Launch Readiness: Support launch, ramp and Safe Launch activities by ensuring production learnings are incorporated into design standards, validation plans, manufacturing requirements and future program readiness.
  • Operational Improvement: Improve RPE standard work, escalation forums, issue management systems, reporting cadence and problem-solving discipline to reduce recurrence and increase transparency.
Skills:
  • Demonstrated experience leading structured problem solving for complex product issues, including containment, root cause analysis, corrective action development and effectiveness verification.
  • Strong working knowledge of vehicle structures, closures and/or low-voltage electrical distribution systems, with the ability to manage cross-system interfaces in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in escalation management efficiently with competing priorities between functions in the plant
  • Expertise in using failure mode management tools in product & process development lifecycle (DFMEA/DVP&R/DFM/DFA/PFMEA/Control Plan etc)
  • Exceptional communication & documentation skills are required
  • Develop processes, tools, & standards to enable efficient use of resources within the team as per pre-defined scope & associated cross-functional engagement
  • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, Safe Launch, VMEA/FMEA, 8D, PPS or similar structured problem-solving and quality methods.
