Job description
Overview

In this role, you will support the KSA finance function as a key FP&A resource, leading business modeling, budgeting, financial analysis, and forecasting. You will oversee month-end closing reviews, MIS reporting, costing analysis, and consolidation processes, while coordinating audits and collaborating with the group FP&A team.

Responsibilities

Business Modeling & Forecasting:

  • Develop long-term financial planning models (3-5 years) and conduct sensitivity analyses for major strategic decisions.
  • Prepare board-level financial packs to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain dynamic financial models to support business planning and strategic decision-making.
  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis processes to drive proactive financial management.

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

  • Support pricing strategy and reimbursement negotiations with payors
  • Develop patient-level costing models to guide pricing and resource allocation.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis-including costing and trend analysis-to identify areas for operational improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive management reports, dashboards, and slide presentations for senior leadership, ensuring timely and accurate MIS reporting.
  • Ensure financial reporting complies with internal policies and applicable accounting standards.

Month-end Closing Review, Consolidation & MIS Reporting:

  • Conduct variance analysis (budget vs. actual) with detailed commentary for management review.
  • Oversee and support the month-end and quarter-end closing review processes, ensuring accurate consolidation of financial data across business units and facilities.
  • Collaborate with entity and facility-level accounts teams to maintain data integrity and consistency in consolidation.

Audit Support & Coordination:

  • Monitor internal controls and review compliance with financial policies.
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of consolidated audits at the country level, including the development of audit schedules and supporting documentation.
  • Lead audit support activities to address and resolve audit findings promptly.

Costing & Efficiency Improvement:

  • Benchmark performance against industry standards and perform contribution margin analysis by service line and facility.
  • Develop cost tracking reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and drive cost efficiency initiatives.
  • Work with operational teams to identify process improvements that enhance cost efficiency without compromising quality.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Provide financial insights to support negotiations with banks, insurers, and other key external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with the group's FP&A team to ensure alignment of financial strategies while reporting directly to the KSA Finance Head.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external auditors to support cross-functional initiatives and continuous process improvements.

Education & Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years' FP&A or management accounting experience, ideally in healthcare or multi-entity services
  • Healthcare sector experience preferred; prior KSA experience is an advantage
  • Experience in ERP or financial systems implementation is a plus.
