Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE
Operating waste water treatment plant and maintaining the plant in good condition.

POSITION IN ORGANISATION
Direct Manager: Maintenance supervisor
Peers: Maintenance technician
Sub-ordinates: Level L2

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. The overall responsible for water treatment plant operation.
2. Executing the maintenance schedules to maintain the plant equipment within given engineering standards.
3. Maintain and implement food safety and industrial safety guidance.
4. Analysing waste water parameters and maintain within given spec.
5. Daily contact with Direct Manager/peers.
6. Decision making on utilisation of spare parts.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
The person should be a self-starter with innovative technical skills.
• ITI/Diploma with 2 years to 5 years industrial experience
• Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office and maintenance software
• Technical abilities to resolve complex engineering plant breakdowns
• Functional excellence.
