Responsibilities

Job Purpose

Execute assigned tasks and work orders related to electrical & controls maintenance and engineering works safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively within specified timeframes.

Key Skills/Experience Required

  • Diploma in Electrical & Electronics / Electrical & Instrumentation
  • Experience with LT & MCC, feeder panels & control panels
  • Hands-on troubleshooting experience with equipment, pneumatics cylinders, and valves
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical & control drawings
  • Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and instrumentation
  • Awareness of electrical safety standards
  • Experience in maintenance planning and execution systems

Position in Organization

Reporting to: Utilities and Reliability Manager, Plant Maintenance Electrical Supervisor

Peers include: Maintenance Mechanical & Utilities Technicians, Maintenance Planner, Engineering Store Supervisor

Subordinates: Maintenance Mechanical & Utilities Technicians, Draftsman, Mechanical Supervisors, Utilities Supervisors

Level: L2 & L3

Principal Accountabilities

  • Follow PepsiCo ways and achieve line availability & equipment readiness
  • Prepare daily shift and shutdown activity reports
  • Understand operational principles of automated equipment
  • Handle tools and systems reporting
  • Interpretation to gain critical experience
  • Review PEMM improvement plans annually
  • Perform assigned work orders and other tasks as directed
  • Troubleshoot and identify parts for technical problems
  • Execute maintenance schedules per engineering standards
  • Maintain food safety and quality standards
  • Update SAP PM & CM work orders
  • Identify root causes of major and recurring issues
  • Participate in ReCon activities and ConMon tool application
  • Engage in online training via PepsiCo platforms
  • Adhere to safety policies and contribute to EHS management system improvements

Decision-Making Authority

  • Daily contact with manager and peers
  • Decide on spare parts utilization
  • Implement PEMM standards

Qualifications

  • Ability to read plans/schematics relevant to qualification
  • Knowledge of automation systems like servo, stepper, induction motors, starters, and control drives
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently on electrical & controls tasks
  • Team player with flexibility and adaptability
  • Capability to lead modifications and small projects
  • Supportive of mechanical work
  • Knowledge of QFS, EHS systems, and policies
  • Good communication skills in English and computer literacy
  • Supportive and motivational attitude
  • Analytical thinking and good housekeeping practices
  • Follow tools inventory protocols
