A manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of process and facility-related equipment. This is a first shift position working 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance according to schedule
• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs during production
• Utilize hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as hand and electric tools
• Perform basic facility maintenance repairs
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders
• Diagnose problems, repair equipment, and make adjustments when needed
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Record and manage work using computer systems
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• Must have at least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
• Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment utilizing hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and hand and power tools
• Knowledge of safety protocols such as LOTO, SDS, and OSHA regulations
• Ability to diagnose problems, repair equipment, and make adjustments when needed
• Ability to read and understand manuals and work orders, and follow maintenance schedules
• Excellent communication skills and basic computer skills
• Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to work well under pressure and demonstrate high-level problem-solving skills
