We are looking for a Maintenance Technician with a service mindset to provide professional service to our customers in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

In this role, you will be at the core of KONE - an everyday hero who makes people's lives easier. You will work towards ensuring quality service, improving equipment safety and performance, and promoting regular and proactive on-site communication with the customer and the users of the equipment. As a maintenance technician, you will perform regular maintenance checks and tasks, as well as attend call-outs.

Customer Relationship Management:
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction through quality of service and through regular, proactive, and precise on-site communication (callout ETA, job performed, etc.)
  • Responsible for accurate and real-time reporting of work performed (at the equipment level)
  • Accountable for equipment safety and performance
  • Accountable for identifying site risks and communicating them to the supervisor
  • Responsible for immediate on-site action in case of high-risk identification and following escalation procedures
  • Responsible for identifying unplanned service repairs based on equipment needs
Service operations:
  • Accountable for end-user and site safety
  • Responsible for safe working practices and executing operations according to maintenance and safety instructions
  • Responsible for executing service visits (planned maintenance, callouts, and repairs) respecting schedule, quality standards, and processes
  • Responsible for raising sales to the supervisor
  • Responsible for maintaining the safety and condition of service tooling, van, and instruments

Qualifications:

  • ITI/Vocational Certificate or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Automation or equivalent
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills
  • 5 years of solid preventive maintenance experience with a reputed elevator company
