MAIN TASKS:

Supports the MTSD (Maintenance & Technical Support Depot) team by:

  • Advising and assisting in all aspects of his specialty.
  • Monitoring and analyzing factors affecting operational availability, system performance, and support chain performance; recommending and implementing corrective actions locally and with the team in France.
  • Evaluating the performance of systems, data handling, and communication equipment.
  • Monitoring Built-In Test equipment/software, analyzing results, and recommending improvements.
  • Performing intermediate level maintenance (Field Maintenance - FM) as required.
  • Conducting diagnostic checks, troubleshooting, and repairing radar and C2 systems to ensure operational readiness.
  • Diagnosing and isolating complex electronic problems between hardware, software, and LRUs using diagnostic procedures, system checks, BITE, and testing tools.
  • Supporting Mobile Maintenance Team (MMT) functions, traveling to remote sites for software maintenance, troubleshooting, and On the Job Training (OJT).
  • Communicating with European Contractor Experts to resolve issues and fix malfunctions when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Radar Technology.
  • Specialized training and certification in Radars and/or C2 systems.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of French and Arabic is an advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
EXPERIENCE:
  • 3-5 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of PSR/SSR Radars, C2, and communication equipment, including installation, testing, integration, upgrades, and modifications.
  • Experience with Radar systems, including Primary/Secondary radars, plot extractors, and interface equipment.
  • Technical knowledge of antennas, processors, computers, data transmission, power systems, etc.
  • Experience working in a complex, multicultural, multidisciplinary environment with customer interactions.
  • Understanding of wider CONTRACTOR support services.
