We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Maintenance Engineer to be based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, supporting the maintenance organization in solving complex technical issues and spreading technical knowledge throughout the organization.

The responsibilities include:

• Ensuring safe working practices and carrying out operations according to maintenance and safety instructions to ensure safety of end-users and employees.
• Solving complex technical issues assigned by THD.
• Performing first visits of new equipment from competitors or KONE as requested.
• Identifying technical issues in equipment that could cause call-outs or safety hazards, fixing issues, creating sales leads, and communicating with the THD Manager.
• Identifying technical competence gaps for maintaining new equipment and communicating needs to the Maintenance Supervisor / Technical Helpdesk Manager.
• Providing feedback on repair or adjustment needs to reduce call-outs and communicating with the Technical Helpdesk Manager.
• Contributing to product, method, and safety improvements by providing feedback.
• Planning workload effectively in conjunction with the THD Manager.
• Solving remote monitoring/alarm system issues assigned by THD.
• Maintaining customer satisfaction through quality service and proactive communication.
• Maintaining excellent relationships with customers and on-site users, applying a service mindset.
• Improving the competence of Maintenance Technicians by explaining root causes and solutions.
• Spreading knowledge of Field Letters, Express Letters, and new maintenance methodologies.
• Training and coaching Maintenance Technicians nominated by the THD / Maintenance Operations Manager.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2-4 years experience in Elevator & Escalator Industry.
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Arabic.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities, with exceptional follow-up skills.
