Position: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Maintenance Engineer to support our maintenance organization by resolving complex technical issues and sharing technical knowledge across the team.

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure safe working practices and adhere to safety instructions to protect end-users and colleagues.
  2. Resolve complex technical issues assigned by THD.
  3. Perform initial visits on new equipment from competitors or KONE as requested.
  4. Identify technical issues in maintenance equipment that could cause call-outs or safety hazards, and communicate findings to management.
  5. Identify skills gaps in maintaining new equipment and communicate needs for training or support.
  6. Provide feedback on repair or adjustment needs to reduce future call-outs.
  7. Contribute to product and safety improvements through feedback.
  8. Plan workload effectively in coordination with the THD Manager.
  9. Handle remote monitoring and alarm system issues, maintaining customer relationships.
  10. Ensure customer satisfaction through quality service and clear communication.
  11. Maintain excellent relationships with customers and site users, demonstrating leadership and people management skills.
  12. Enhance the technical competence of Maintenance Technicians by sharing knowledge and solutions.
  13. Disseminate knowledge of Field Letters, Express Letters, and new maintenance methodologies.
  14. Provide training and coaching to nominated Maintenance Technicians.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 2-4 years of experience in the Elevator & Escalator industry.
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • This position is open to Saudi nationals.
