Role Purpose

A Machinist Level 2 is expected to set-up, program CNC machines, disassemble, inspect, assemble, rework and test rotating equipment to exacting tolerances.

Perform all maintenance and repairs to the required manufacturers' standards.

Job Accountabilities & Activities
  1. Independently carry out maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting on equipment/systems, in line with individual experience and knowledge.
  2. When required, work with other team members to complete assigned tasks.
  3. Diagnose, analyze, and rectify all types of faults, using manufacturers' information.
  4. Maintain required levels of Utilization, Productivity and Efficiency in line with manufacturers' standard times.
  5. Ensure company/manufacturers' policies and procedures are followed.
  6. Maintain the highest level of professional standards when discussing work with colleagues.
  7. Provide technical advice to colleagues.
  8. Comply with Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices.
  9. Maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of products and attend training courses.
Education & Certifications
