Job Description

Job Purpose: Jobs at this level are responsible for managing the lifecycle of IoT Connectivity products and services, from ideation to launch. The role involves defining the go-to-market strategy, overseeing product performance, and collaborating with various teams to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities
Managerial Responsibilities
  • Participates in the development and implementation of plans for the Mobile Portfolio, in line with corporate objectives.
  • Directs and manages M2M mandates, providing leadership and facilitating work processes to achieve high performance standards.
  • Interprets and implements changes in the M2M area, providing guidance and support necessary for continuous improvement.
  • Ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards in M2M.
Core Responsibilities
  • Define go-to-market and product roadmap for IoT Connectivity products/services.
  • Conduct customer evaluation and approve onboarding to the M2M platform.
  • Compile and submit onboarding forms to Sales Operations.
  • Conduct platform awareness sessions and demonstrations for new and potential customers.
  • Execute end-to-end IoT Connectivity products/services portfolio, including revamps or decommissioning of products.
  • Manage product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including drafting budgets/business cases and resource requirements.
  • Draft functional requirement documentation related to IoT Connectivity products/services.
  • Collaborate with Industry Insights, Market Intelligence & Segmentation, and Customer Journey & Channels Management for product, competition, and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Communications to develop communication campaigns.
  • Develop tariff plans and support Telco Product Pricing & Profitability in evaluating pricing decisions.
  • Assess pricing and financial impact of proposed promotions and manage overall promotions plan.
  • Monitor service performance.
  • Collaborate with Customer Journey & Channels Management, CVM & Data, and Marketing & Communications to align on customer experience, loyalty, and retention requirements.
  • Support Business Development and Solution Architecture in developing technical proposals for IoT Connectivity products/services.
  • Develop value proposition training manuals for sales and customer service, and conduct training sessions.
  • Support solutions sales and business development activities for IoT Connectivity services.
  • Participate in product development for IoT Connectivity services with Technology teams.
  • Drive the implementation of new digital services.
  • Collaborate with product managers and relevant stakeholders to address gaps in implementation and delivery of product requirements.
  • Participate in business acceptance testing with product managers and product design and enablement.
  • Support in articulating implementation requirements arising from product and feature interactions.
People Management Responsibilities
  • Defines goals and key performance indicators for team members and ensures effective application of the performance management process.
  • Directs planning and selection of manpower in the M2M area, in line with business and operational plans.
  • Ensures high levels of employee engagement and capability development by providing ongoing feedback and coaching to team members.
Experience & Education
  • Years of Experience: 6-8 Years of experience in product management in the telecommunications industry.
  • Education: Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Telecommunications Engineering; Masters Degree preferred.
Additional Information

Certifications in relevant fields are advantageous.
