Job description

Location: Jeddah, KSA

Job Summary
  1. Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure the Life Support System and acrylic panels meet design criteria and project requirements. Ensure precision and quality alignment with project specifications during shop drawings, manufacturing, and installation processes.
  2. Manage and oversee all the aquatic specialist subcontractor works related to LS and acrylics to facilitate completion, ensuring compliance with project schedule.
  3. Oversee purchasing, shipping, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning processes of the Life Support Systems and tanks.
  4. Perform audits for civil works in preparation for the installation and commissioning process of acrylic panels, ensuring proper waterproofing, transport, rigging, alignment, sealing, and hydrotesting.
  5. Manage and oversee purchasing, installation, integration, and commissioning processes for tank access platforms and lighting for the animal exhibits.
  6. Manage and oversee staff training and handover documentation processes from aquatic specialist.
  7. Oversee and ensure proper integration of specialist works into the project schedule.
Experience
  1. Sound understanding of the LSS including mechanical, biological, and chemical filtration and sterilization techniques.
  2. Experience working with aquatic systems in aquarium, zoo, aquaculture facility, or related field. Relevant certifications in life support systems, water quality management, or aquatic animal care.
Education

Degree in marine biology or related field.
