Logistics Supervisor

Job Description:

• Oversee outbound logistics operations and ensure efficient supply chain processes.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures.
• Schedule shipments and deliveries, overseeing transportation of products from one location to another.
• Maintain warehouse inventory by analyzing client or customer needs and managing stock accordingly.
• Understand planning, shipping, warehouse management, and inventory systems.
• Manage daily routes and schedules for shipments and deliveries.
• Track the progress of shipments.
• Understand 3PL/2PL delivery processes.
• Plan routes and manage outbound deliveries.
• Ensure accurate and timely pulling and shipping of MOs for production, coordinating with Material Handling to ensure proper components for efficient line changeovers.
• Coordinate and ensure proper loading and unloading of trucks.
• Manage personnel such as drivers and helpers.
• Coordinate with warehouses, finance, and sales teams.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience, preferably in the consumer products or packaged goods sector.
