The opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Logistics Planning & Optimization Experienced Professional to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in implementing and continuously optimizing Transport, Trade & Logistics (TT&L) operations. You will manage daily operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement of TT&L processes, tools, and services. Your efforts will ensure goods are shipped efficiently while meeting quality, legal, and cost parameters. You will manage end-to-end G/C transportation planning, including verification and approval of freight unit data (weight, dimensions, pick-up and delivery addresses and dates, incoterms), selecting MOT, checking routes, nominated carriers and lanes, calculating charges, selecting and assigning LSP, creating Freight Orders, sharing shipping schedules with stakeholders, and resolving shipment issues.

How you’ll make an impact

• Managing import/export customs operations with customs brokers for general cargo, heavy lift, and parcel orders.
• Creating import/export customs declaration files, verifying HS classifications and descriptions, and uploading documents into SAP GTS.
• Sending customs instructions to brokers, including requests for additional documents.
• Verifying customs documents and declarations, submitting amendments if needed, and supporting customs clearance resolution.
• Managing IPR and OPR cases with customs brokers.
• Supporting compliance with preferential origin rules.
• Advising on UCC and EU regulations in international trade in coordination with CTCO.
• Applying for export incentives and tax/duty savings licenses with CTCO if necessary.

Your background

• Diploma in Logistics Management or MBA in Logistics or Operations Management from a recognized institute.
• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in logistics and global trade.
• Experience supporting logistics and customs operations in KSA.
• Comprehensive understanding of local and international transportation modes, import/export, and customs operations.
• Good relationships with local and global logistics suppliers.
• Knowledge of SAP TM, SAP GTS, and SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
