Job Description:
- Arrange and schedule international and local shipments with freight agents and carriers.
- Track shipments from origin to destination and report delivery timelines to stakeholders.
- Prepare commercial invoices, packing lists, and other customs documentation.
- Submit import/export documentation via SABER and FASAH platforms.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi customs regulations and international trade laws.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound goods with warehouse teams.
- Book gate pass permits for drivers accessing restricted client zones.
- Communicate with vendors and follow up on shipment readiness, delays, or discrepancies.
- Negotiate rates and terms with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
- Evaluate freight partners based on cost, reliability, and lead times.
- Monitor logistics costs and support monthly budgeting for customs duties and fees.
- Create purchase orders for logistics and freight-related services.
- Maintain accurate shipment records for audits and compliance.
- Share logistics updates with relevant departments and prepare summary reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Bilingual fluency in Arabic & English.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD APICS/ASCM).
- Hands-on experience with Saudi customs systems (SABER, FASAH).
Experience:
- 3-5 years in logistics coordination, preferably in technical services or manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with Saudi customs systems (e.g., SABER, FASAH).
- Strong vendor communication and documentation handling skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
