Responsibilities

• Track suppliers and ensure timely delivery to customers as per the company’s delivery commitment which shall improve the company’s cash conversion cycle (CCC).
• Pay special attention to orders with a Letter of Credit (LC) or Liquidated Damages (LD) and ensure timely delivery and document submission to the bank as per LC requirements without incurring any additional cost.
• Knowledge of import/export clearance requirements in the Middle East & Africa, especially on products regulation (ESMA/ ECAS, COC, SABER) and other ministry approvals such as TRA, MOFAIC, chemical, etc., and pre-organize them wherever possible for smooth customs clearance and delivery.
• Arrange all logistical documents as per the customer contract which must comply with local customs and VAT authority.
• Optimize shipping costs by negotiating with various freight forwarders and arrange the shipment as per project requirements.
• Thorough knowledge of all the latest ICC Incoterms - 2020 and ensure all shipments are handled as per agreed Incoterms with customer/supplier.
• Be a good team player and share logistical knowledge such as the latest customs updates and regulations with sales and project teams; be ready to accept challenges as per the company’s requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation for all import/export shipments.

Qualifications

• Should have effective communication and interpersonal skills and know MS Office and SAP.
