We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic Logistics Manager to lead and drive Logistics Operations (transportation, warehouse, and network optimization) & continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing service, reducing logistics costs, and minimizing inventory in the region.

The Logistics Manager acts as the single point of contact for all logistics-related topics in the region, internally and externally, coordinating between various functions within KONE.

What will you do?

  1. Lead, direct, and control logistics operations, policies, procedures, and activities to maximize efficiency, reliability, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
  2. Serve as the focal point of contact for KONE and logistics service providers concerning materials volume planning, inventory management, warehousing, customs clearance, regulatory approvals, transport, and distribution.
  3. Oversee the logistics budget, analyze logistics spend, and monitor cost-effectiveness to optimize resources and reduce costs.
  4. Identify, drive, and execute continuous improvement and variable cost productivity projects and initiatives.
  5. Establish KPIs and SLAs for transit and delivery times, inventory levels, transportation and warehousing costs, and service standards; monitor performance against these metrics.
  6. Research, negotiate, maintain, and evaluate relationships and contracts with logistics service providers to ensure reliable, quality, timely, and cost-effective logistics services.
  7. Maintain timely reports, data analytics, and dashboards for metric visibility and communication.
  8. Conduct timely cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure KPI achievement and inventory integrity.
  9. Develop, coach, and lead the logistics team, setting measurable goals to ensure effective implementation of logistics strategies.
  10. Support warehousing optimization and Lean projects.

Are you the one?

  1. Minimum 5-7 years of leadership experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  2. Extensive experience in logistics operations, warehouse, inventory management, transportation, customs clearance, and supply chain management in Saudi Arabia.
  3. Strong IT, data analytics, and digital reporting skills.
  4. Excellent project management and analytical skills.
  5. Fluent in English and Arabic, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Experience working in a compliant supply chain.
  7. Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport across all organizational levels and work effectively in a cross-functional, global team environment.
