Qualifications

  • Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience working overseas, either on management consultant and/or Direct Hire Contract with preference to projects in the Middle East.
  • Self-motivated individual with good skills and experience and the ability to influence without authority.
  • Ability to manage priorities and take on additional evolving responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide logistics recommendations to support construction.
  • Coordinate with all team members in generating and developing approved logistics ideas and plans.
  • Assist in initiating logistics program process and schedule.
  • Prepare and may lead logistics awareness training.
  • Contribute to construction-related logistics by providing feedback to support the project schedule.
  • Maintain/develop enterprise-wide processes and procedures.
  • Ensure effective implementation of Quality Management System.
  • Promote development of enterprise applications.

    We are currently considering candidates with aviation, other transportation or complex public accessible building project experience to provide project management consultancy services (including technical, commercial and construction management) for a major infrastructure project in Riyadh.

    Job Summary:

    In this role, you will liaise between engineering and field operations and provide guidance on logistics to support execution. You will lead the implementation of logistics decisions in accordance with the project logistics plan and provide feedback to Logistics manager.

    Major Responsibilities:
    • Provides logistics recommendations to support construction
    • Coordinates with all team members in generating and developing approved logistics ideas and plans.
    • Assist in initiating logistics program process and schedule.
    • Prepares and may lead logistics awareness training
    • Contributes to construction related logistics by providing feedback to support the project schedule.
    • Maintains/develops enterprise-wide processes and procedures
    • Ensures effective implementation of Quality Management System
    • Promotes development of enterprise applications
    Education and Experience Requirements:

    Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience

    Required Knowledge and Skills:
    • Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of the Project Environmental, Safety & Health (ES&H).
    • Should be familiar with local codes, International Codes & Safety Standards.
    • Knowledge of the use of subcontracts; knowledge of the contractor/ subcontractor’s responsibilities contained in subcontract documents.
    • Experience working overseas, either on management consultant and /or Direct Hire Contract with preference to projects in the Middle East.
    • Self-motivated individual with good skills and experience and the ability to influence without authority.
    • Ability to manage priorities and take on additional evolving responsibilities.
