We are looking for a Unix/Linux Engineer (Medina Airport)
Description of work:
Planning, designing, installing Unix/Linux systems, storage units, server hardware, and backup systems at the terminals he is responsible for, and ensuring that 24/7 operation support is provided safely and without any problems.
Main Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Design, install, administer, configure, upgrade, migrate, and maintain Linux Servers and automation tools (Debian and Redhat derivatives, Ansible, Satellite, etc.).
- Experience with Server, Storage & SAN (Storage Area Network) hardware setup, management, and maintenance.
- Experience with virtualization and containerization (VMware, OpenShift, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Monitor and tune system performance.
- Install and manage backup systems (Veeam Backup).
- Maintain high availability and redundancy of business-critical Unix/Linux systems, SAN, Backup, and VMware systems.
- Address security gaps within the scope of internal and external audits.
- Conduct feasibility studies for Unix/Linux systems, backup systems, storage units, and virtual systems in new projects.
- Keep abreast of technological developments related to systems under responsibility and apply them as needed.
- Perform tasks assigned by the manager within the scope of the job description.
- Provide solutions promptly for related requests.
- Plan hardware and software upgrades and prepare annual capacity plans.
- Manage backup activities and other management tasks.
- Prepare and enforce information security management system documentation.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field preferred.
Relevant work experience: 5 years
Foreign Language: English
Level: Good: Able to explain and understand instructions, discuss issues, read, and write reports effectively.
