We are hiring a Linux Integration Engineer

Our Professional Services team is expanding as we tackle exciting challenges worldwide to empower telecom operators, governments, and authorities.

Based in Riyadh (KSA), the Linux Integration Engineer will play a crucial role, involved throughout the project lifecycle, from initial planning to Go-Live.

The role involves a dynamic customer interface, working closely with our R&D team to ensure successful project outcomes.

Ideal candidates will have experience with Linux system integration, testing distributed applications, writing installation and debugging scripts, and analyzing complete production systems (logs, databases, networks, etc.).

As an Intersec Integrator, you will:

  • Be involved from project start to finish, defining and implementing your own integration processes.
  • Contribute to automation, provide constructive feedback, and improve processes.
  • Potentially take responsibility for releasing our integration tools.
  • Address complex technical challenges with pragmatic solutions.
  • Work in a highly technical environment with the latest technologies, requiring continuous learning.
  • Troubleshoot and propose solutions, collaborating with other integrators.
  • Engage with telecom systems, operating systems, network configurations, and customer communication.
  • Think creatively to propose new solutions and work proactively towards success.
  • Collaborate directly with R&D engineers in a skilled environment.
  • Install and configure solutions on customer platforms (validation and production).
  • Create project documentation (test cases, user guides, requirements).
  • Ensure solution stability and reliability.
  • Manage updates and upgrades of solutions.
  • Provide training on products and features.

Requirements

About you

Experience working with Telecom providers or suppliers.

Technical skills

  • Proficient with Git for version control and collaboration.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux operations and administration.
  • Experience with Shell Scripting on Unix/Linux.
  • Good knowledge of Python.
  • Understanding of IP networking under Linux.
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of Ansible and VMware.
  • Experience in Test Automation is highly valued.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Docker.

General skills

  • Autonomous, capable of documenting processes.
