POSITION SUMMARY

As the Line Electrician, you will be responsible for preventative electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical equipment in the factory. You will follow plant sanitation practices and procedures while staying informed of new technology and equipment relevant to plant operations. Working safely at all times, you will play a major role in machine reliability and process improvements across the plant. Our maintenance work includes both predictive and preventive maintenance. This position is located in a Green Field Food Factory in Saudi Arabia.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment in the factory safely.
  2. Meet all Safety, Health, Quality, and Environmental requirements when performing job duties.
  3. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis.
  4. Design, program, and troubleshoot plant PLCs, VFDs, input/output devices, and associated equipment.
  5. Read, update, and create electrical prints and documentation.
  6. Use test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators.
  7. Apply knowledge of LV & MV systems, single-phase, and three-phase electrical power.
  8. Complete incident investigations for downtime and quality deviations to determine root cause and propose or implement corrective and preventive actions.
  9. Collaborate with team members to maintain equipment and solve technical problems.
  10. Manage the instrument calibration program for regulatory and quality compliance.
  11. Able to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
What will make you successful…
  1. High school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of complex electrical, automation, and mechanical systems in a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment – OR – a technical degree or certification with 2+ years of relevant industrial electrical experience.
  2. Preference for experience in a manufacturing facility in the Food and Beverages industry or other Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
  3. Experience in Electrical Preventive Maintenance activities of Medium & Low Voltage Switchgears, MCCs, VFDs, induction motors, servo motors, sensors, instruments, etc.
  4. Experience with PLC & HMI, with basic knowledge of programming software, preferably Allen Bradley (ControlLogix, CompactLogix), Siemens, etc.
  5. Experience working with VFDs like Allen Bradley, Danfoss, Siemens, etc.
  6. Experience working with Servo drives like Allen Bradley, Schneider, etc.
  7. Experience with Instrument Calibration Program for various devices such as flow meters, level transmitters, pressure transmitters, and others listed.
  8. Personnel supervision experience (technical teams, contractors, or other 3rd parties).
  9. Good knowledge of electrical distribution systems (low & medium voltage installations).
  10. Good knowledge of local electrical codes and standards.
  11. Good knowledge of instrumentation and calibration processes.
  12. Good knowledge of SAP / Asset Maintenance Management (AMM).
  13. Knowledge of automation systems and equipment (HMI, PLC, industrial networks, etc.).
