Job description

Responsible for preparing raw materials, vegetables & proteins, ensuring courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service within restaurant operational standards.

The focus of the LC is to assemble products as per the standard recipes provided, ensure safety and cleanliness, minimize wastage, control costs without compromising quality or quantity, and maintain positive relationships with customers while embedding this culture in all team members.

  1. Ensure products are prepared within the set time parameters.
  2. Adhere to the schedule, including breaks, leaves, and overtime.
  3. Attend pre-shift briefings and contribute effectively.
  4. Complete pre-shift setup before service begins.
  5. Ensure adequate quantities of all food groups are available, with backup as per PAR levels.
  6. Assist coworkers and ensure all stations are ready on time.
  7. Guide trainees and share information to improve overall readiness and performance.
  8. Apply and monitor shelf-life labels, ensuring compliance with FSM regulations.
  9. Use routine checklists and FSM lists consistently, ensuring team compliance.
  10. Provide feedback to the line manager regarding products, customers, colleagues, and work parameters.
