Job Description

We are currently seeking dynamic and self-motivated Recreation professionals who want to advance their careers. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for monitoring activities in the swimming area to prevent accidents and assist swimmers. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Warning swimmers about unsafe areas
  2. Rescuing swimmers in danger of drowning and administering first aid
  3. Maintaining order in swimming areas
  4. Testing water quality, including chlorine content and pH levels, using water testing kits
  5. Conducting or officiating swimming meets and providing swimming instructions
  6. Ensuring the cleanliness of the swimming pool
  7. Maintaining sun loungers in proper condition and position
  8. Regularly checking pool temperature to meet standards
  9. Keeping the pool deck clean and free of debris during operations
  10. Ensuring umbrellas are properly fixed and secured when not in use for safety
  11. Providing emergency care and treatment until emergency medical services arrive
  12. Having comprehensive knowledge of the club's facilities, timings, promotions, and prices
Desired Candidate Profile

Education, Qualifications & Experience

Candidates should ideally be professional swimmers with a trained and qualified lifeguard certification, holding a diploma or university degree, and possess some previous work experience, preferably within the hotel industry. Physical fitness and the ability to work long hours outdoors are essential. Good command of English and strong interpersonal skills are advantageous.
