Job description

Licensed Ophthalmologist (Male or Female)

Al Khaleej Medical Center is seeking a skilled and experienced Ophthalmologist to join our medical team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye conditions, performing specialized eye examinations, and managing both medical and minor surgical treatments related to vision and eye health.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision tests.
  2. Diagnose and treat eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, infections, and diabetic retinopathy.
  3. Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, medications, and other treatments as needed.
  4. Refer patients for surgical interventions when required.
  5. Operate diagnostic devices such as slit lamps, OCT, and tonometers.
  6. Maintain accurate patient records and follow-up plans.
  7. Educate patients on preventive eye care and post-treatment procedures.

Job Requirements:

  1. Medical Degree (MBBS) and specialized degree in Ophthalmology.
  2. Valid and active license from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
  3. Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in Ophthalmology.
  4. Proficiency in using ophthalmic diagnostic equipment.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Arabic and/or English fluency (both preferred).
  7. Strong ethical and professional standards.
