Legal Counsel, MENA (based in KSA)
Job Description

Exciting opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join a dynamic legal team in JLL MENA as its in-house legal counsel and contribute to the company's rapid growth in the Middle East.

You will work as an in-house lawyer for our business activities in the Middle East, working closely with the business and company stakeholders to ensure timely and professional support in managing legal activities.

Responsibilities include:
  • Provide full-scale day-to-day operational legal support for all legal affairs within JLL MENA/MEA business (contractual, corporate, labor, litigation).
  • Prepare and review contracts and negotiate independently with clients and contractors (service agreements, construction agreements, agency agreements, facility management agreements, lease agreements, supplier agreements, etc.).
  • Assist the Head of Legal MENA/MEA on corporate matters related to the region, including incorporation/liquidation of legal entities, amendments to the constitutional documents, resolutions, etc.
  • Review, interpret, evaluate, and analyze relevant laws and regulations; provide updates on critical legal changes.
  • Provide legal advice on regulatory matters relating to company operations.
  • Ensure operations and legal documents comply with JLL policies and applicable laws.
  • Handle insurance, licensing, claims, and disputes involving the company.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel and liaise regionally and with EMEA.
  • Assist in developing local policies and adopting global policies for the region.
  • Provide other support as needed to the Head of Legal MENA/MEA.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Law degree from leading law schools in KSA.
  • At least 5+ years of post-degree experience, preferably in multicultural environments.
  • Experience in international law firms specializing in real estate, construction, or consulting is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in oral and written Arabic and English.
  • High integrity, good communication skills, team-oriented.
  • Senior-level professional with strong commercial thinking, business judgment, strategic and tactical skills, responsibility, initiative, and ethical standards.
