Your Role:

Manages a team of legal professionals in performing legal activities to ensure that the clients adhere to and understand the relevant laws. May provide legal advice, counsel and service to external business clients concerning legal rights, obligations, and privileges of corporations to ensure that corporate interests are well-represented. May advise clients concerning business transactions, liability claims, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations to protect the client's reputation and business interests. Responsible for the preparation of legal briefs and opinions, and filing appeals in state and federal courts of appeal to protect the organization's interests. Responsible for interpreting laws, rulings and regulations for individuals and businesses to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Coordinates work with external counsel.

Minimum Requirements:

5 years’ experience as Legal Counsel
Preferably previous law firm experience
Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one work area.
Has broad knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
Minimum Bachelor degree in Legal.
