As a member of the legal team, this role provides essential support to company operations by offering legal advice across various functions and departments on matters including corporate governance, contracts, intellectual property, labor law, project finance, anti-trust, and data privacy.
Job Duties
- General Legal Support:Provide legal advice to ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., supply agreements, framework contracts, EPCs, leases, NDAs, MoUs).
- Contract Management:Draft and review contracts, deeds, leases, and other legal documents to ensure clarity and compliance with applicable laws.
- Document Development:Develop and manage standard forms and sample documents for consistent legal practices.
- Risk Management:Assist in risk management and dispute resolution, ensuring the organization's interests are protected.
- Company Secretarial Oversight:Oversee company secretarial functions as required, ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards.
- Policy Review:Review corporate policies, processes, and procedures with relevant departments to guide compliance with applicable laws.
- Compliance Processes:Develop and implement processes to monitor compliance with contractual and legal obligations.
- Legal Representation:Prepare, respond to, and present oral and written arguments in court hearings and administrative proceedings.
- Additional Responsibilities:Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor or manager.
