JOB TITLE
Learning & Development Associate - Bakery | MAF Retail | Head Office KSA

ROLE SUMMARY
Bakery Associate – Learning & Development is responsible for supporting the business growth through developing skills of the existing employees and plays a key role in training and developing bakery staff to enhance their technical skills, knowledge, and customer service abilities. The role holder will have a strong background in baking, a passion for teaching, and also be responsible for supporting the Learning and Development Manager in executing relevant initiatives as per the required standards.

ROLE PROFILE

  • Develop and deliver hands-on training programs for bakery staff, focusing on baking techniques, product consistency, and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct workshops and demonstrations on baking skills, equipment handling, and food safety compliance.
  • Collaborate with the L&D team to create training materials, manuals, and e-learning modules.
  • Ensure adherence to company recipes, portioning guidelines, and quality control measures.
  • Conduct assessments and provide constructive feedback to bakery associates.
  • Follow up on the feedback of trainings.
  • Evaluate instructor performance and the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Communicate with management and conduct surveys to identify training needs.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
  • 1 - 3 Proven years of experience in a bakery and corporate training or L&D programs.
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and instructional skills.
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, or training teams.
  • Knowledge of digital learning tools and training software.
