DESCRIPTION

We’re expanding our Learning team within Amazon Operations! If you’re interested in joining a business where you can achieve amazing results and put smiles on people’s faces, this could be the role for you.

The Last Mile Learning Associate works with Operations Managers, Area Managers, and associates. The role involves constantly improving the long-term capabilities of the assigned area.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be comfortable speaking in front of groups and one-on-one, and be able to give and receive feedback effectively. They should be goal-oriented, able to follow up, meet deadlines, and provide insights to area managers. A positive, proactive attitude and a customer-obsessed mindset are essential. The candidate should also measure associate performance in safety, quality, and productivity, applying learning tools to improve operational metrics. They will help develop associates' job-related skills and support the success of peak and non-peak training plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute all standard trainer tasks as outlined on the Trainer Standard Work Checklist
  • Deliver network standard training
  • Partner with Operations Leaders to evaluate and improve training processes
  • Coach associates directly to improve job performance
  • Manage training compliance and ensure accurate training records
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BCom/BE/BTech or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in computer usage, email, MS Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
  • Ability to work in different areas as required by training needs
  • Arabic speaker with professional English proficiency
  • Availability to work in different shifts
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior training, teaching, or presentation experience
  • Previous experience as a trainer
  • Willingness to work different shifts and areas as needed
  • Excellent attendance and organizational skills
  • Support for Operational Excellence initiatives
  • Ability to translate or converse in English and Arabic
