DESCRIPTION

We’re expanding our Learning team within Amazon Operations! If you’re interested in joining a business where you can achieve amazing results and put smiles on people’s faces, this could be the role for you.

The Last Mile Learning Associate works with Operations Managers, Area Managers, and associates. They constantly improve the long-term capabilities of their assigned area.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be comfortable speaking in front of groups and one-on-one, and be able to give and receive feedback effectively. They should follow up diligently, meet deadlines, be goal-oriented, and provide insights to area managers. They work hard for the success of others, remain customer-obsessed, and maintain a positive attitude. They measure associate performance in safety, quality, and productivity, applying learning tools to improve operational metrics. They enhance associates’ job-related skills by developing and applying learning tools such as methods, checklists, and skill-building agreements to foster development. They also assist in driving the success of peak and non-peak training plans.

The Learning Associate will achieve these objectives by:

1. Executing all standard trainer tasks as outlined on the Trainer Standard Work Checklist
2. Delivering network standard technical training
3. Partnering with Operations Leaders to evaluate and improve training processes within work areas
4. Directly coaching associates to improve job performance
5. Managing training compliance to ensure accurate training records are maintained
