Job summary

KBR, Inc in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Lead Pipeline Engineer with 15+ years in onshore pipeline design (Pre-FEED to Detail Design). You will lead a large project team and drive route selection, optimization studies and critical pipeline calculations to ensure safe, compliant delivery.

Ideal candidates will have strong problem-solving, communication skills, and a solid background with international standards (ASME, API, ISO, NACE, DNV).

Qualifications

• Minimum experience of 15 years in Onshore Pipeline design (Pre-FEED, FEED and Detail Design).
• Experience leading a large team (15+ members).
• Strong knowledge of pipeline route selection and optimization studies.
• Proficiency in pipeline calculations (road crossing, upheaval buckling, buoyancy, etc.).
• Experience with international standards (ASME, API, ASTM, MSS SP, ISO, NACE, DNV).
• Engineering degree required in Mechanical or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead onshore pipeline design activities across Pre-FEED, FEED and Detail Design.
• Provide technical guidance and reviews for route selection and optimization.
• Support construction queries while complying with applicable standards.

Job Responsibilities: Minimum experience of 15 years in Onshore Pipeline design (Pre-FEED, FEED and Detail Design). Has experience leading a big group (15 and above team members). Has extensive experience in pipeline route selection and optimization studies. Has experience in scraping philosophy. Technically strong in pipeline calculations such as (but not limited to) road crossing, upheaval buckling, buoyancy, combined stresses, elastic bends, etc. Technically strong in pipeline scraping philosophy. Has strong background in pipeline. Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset. Support construction queries with practical and in compliance with the applicable standards. Has strong background with International Standards such as (but not limited to) ASME, API, ASTM, MSS SP, ISO, NACE, DNV Ability to multi-task and work with the agreed project milestones. Has strong communication skills. Has Engineering Degree in Mechanical or relevant field
