Job summary

Wood seeks an Onshore Pipeline Principal - SME in Saudi Arabia to serve as the Technical Authority across our oil, gas, mining, and industrial projects. You will provide expert engineering governance through proposals, FEED, detailed design, construction support and commissioning.

The role requires 20+ years of relevant experience, Chartered Engineer status preferred, and a track record of leading cross-country pipeline projects with ASME/API standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in the relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer status preferred.
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Petrochemical, Mining or Industrial projects.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Authority, Chief Engineer or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Technical Authority across multiple projects.
  • Lead technical reviews during Concept FEED and Detailed Design.
  • Perform independent design assurance and peer reviews.
  • Resolve complex engineering challenges and provide specialist guidance.
  • Support proposals, client workshops and business development.
  • Mentor engineers and develop technical capability.
  • Develop and maintain engineering standards and best practices.

We are seeking an Onshore Pipeline Principal - SME to serve as the Technical Authority across our portfolio of energy oil amp gas mining industrial and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia The successful candidate will provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle including proposals concept studies FEED detailed engineering construction support and commissioning Acting as the highest level of technical authority within their discipline the successful candidate will provide specialist expertise ensure engineering excellence strengthen technical governance and support the delivery of safe innovative and high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the Technical Authority across multiple projects
