Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Lead Infrastructure Engineer (Design) to join our team! In this role you will determine designs, methods, and solutions for complex infrastructure engineering problems and select the most efficient and economical approach to meet project objectives.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Function as discipline Lead Infrastructure Engineer across multiple projects, assuming responsibility for the work of the group.

  • Plan, direct, and supervise the work of a major engineering design unit or project requiring a large-scale expenditure of manpower and financial investment.

  • Lead other Engineers and design personnel in technical excellence and growth in the Quality Improvement Process.

  • Provide technical consultations for interdisciplinary analytical studies and analyses.

  • Ensure compliance of design with all applicable codes and regulations, providing the seal and signature of the professional engineer when required by statute or contract.

  • Prepare material/equipment specifications and purchase requisitions; review supplier data; witness shop tests; assist with assessing supplier manufacturing capabilities.

  • Develop operation and maintenance plans, standard operating procedures, and O&M manuals; may conduct on-site training of personnel.

  • Conduct surveys, studies, and site investigations.

  • Perform reliability, availability, maintenance (RAM) and safety analyses.

  • Maintain affiliation with professional societies to keep abreast of current technologies.

  • Determine budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule; review and recommend approval of supplier invoices and progress reports.

  • Assist with other administrative and technical duties.

  • Recommend and prepare technical papers.

  • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

  • Supervision Received: Supervising Engineer, Project Manager, Discipline Engineering Manager

  • Supervision Given: CAD Drafter/Designers, Designers, Junior-level Engineers

  • Internal Contacts: All employees on project

  • External Contacts: Suppliers, Clients, 3rd Party Utility Providers, Government Entities and Permitting Offices

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or related field).

  • Typically 15+ years of related work experience with emphasis on infrastructure.

  • Professional Engineer registration required.

  • Potential to perform in a lead capacity.

  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.

  • Familiarity with industry practices and regulations.

  • Thorough knowledge of current and future technology.

  • Ability to select and apply appropriate engineering software for use on projects.


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Working experience and general knowledge of multi-craft, multi-discipline construction practices and buildability.

  • Excellent Arabic / English verbal and written communication skills preferred

  • Experience of working internationally (preferably KSA or Middle East experience).
