Business Unit: Process Equipment Company

Sector: Steel

This position is responsible for bid/contract review, design, and implementation of Electrical & Instrumentation scope, testing, FAT, and commissioning in Modular Oil & Gas Skids, Metering skids, Chemical Injection skids, Filtration skids, or other types of modular equipment.

Person Specifications: (Minimum attributes for effective job performance: education, qualifications/certifications, work experience, specific skills, computer literacy, language/communication skills, personal competencies)

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical Engineering; Master Degree preferred in Instrumentation, Communication, or Control Systems.

Technical Certifications: Courses on AutoCAD, PDMS, SP3D, etc.

Age: 30-40 years old

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years in reputed engineering consultancy or manufacturing facilities, designing Oil & Gas Skids, Metering Skids, Modular units.

Industry Knowledge: Detailed knowledge of Modular Equipment such as Chemical injection, Oil & Gas, Metering, and other process packages.

• Experience in detailed engineering design of field & control room instrumentation.
• Familiarity with standards like IEC, API RP 500, CENELEC, ASME, NACE, ANSI, GOST, SNIP, ROK.

Must have knowledge of Shell DEP, Saudi Aramco SAMSS, ADMA FS, GASCO FS, TAKREER FS, and NCOC FS.

• Experience in engineering, testing, & commissioning of DCS, ESD, HIPS, WSD systems.
• Control system engineering, logic development with PLC, DCS, SCADA systems.

Additional Skills & Experience:

• Experience with switch racks, lighting panels, power and distribution panels, cable tray/trench routing.
• Participation in HAZOP, SIL studies, safety system lifecycle management.
• Ensure P&ID designs are compliant with industry and project standards.
• Preparation of engineering documents like instrument index sheets.
• Design operability, maintainability, safety according to local laws and client standards.
• Coordinate with clients and review drawings and vendor data for conformity.
• Assist in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and participate in FAT/SAT to improve processes.

Key Results Areas (KRA): Contribution through design, preparation of cable schedules, layouts, and documentation.

Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, Oracle ERP, 3D modeling.

Language Skills: Excellent communication in English and/or Arabic.

Personal Attributes: Results-oriented, detail-focused, quick and methodical worker, team player, flexible, good decision-maker, aware of ISO standards (9001, 18001, 14001), and relevant codes.

Understanding of: Engineering drawings, international standards like IEC, NEMA, and Saudi Aramco specifications.
