Havelock One Interiors is seeking a Lead Designer to join our team in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

Background

Since 1998, Havelock One Interiors has established itself as a leading turnkey fit-out service provider in the Middle East. We specialize in interior contracting and the manufacturing of bespoke joinery, metalworks, and sophisticated shop fittings.

Role Summary

The Lead Designer is responsible for designing various projects with well-organized structures. Our projects include turnkey fit-outs for Hospitality, Hotels, High-End Residential, Palaces, F&B, Retail, Entertainment, Health, and Education sectors.

Responsibilities

1. Use CAD software and manual drawing techniques to produce architectural plans for management and client approval.
2. Gather measurements, dimensions, and perform routine calculations for design layouts.
3. Revise and modify designs based on feedback from management and clients.
4. Collaborate with Architects and Designers to exchange ideas and support.
5. Maintain accurate documentation of all designs and information.
6. Ensure all layouts and blueprints comply with industry codes and standards.
7. Collect detailed information on project design requirements.
8. Supervise design activities to ensure accuracy of structural plans.
9. Maintain communication with clients during construction to resolve design issues.
10. Coordinate with the Project Manager and relevant departments regarding design and engineering schedules.

Personal Qualities and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a relevant field.
• Over 8 years of interior fit-out experience, including design, detailing, joinery, and furniture installation.
• Ability to manage projects from concept to delivery.
• Excellent technical skills, especially with AutoCAD.
• Strong creative and time management skills.
• Excellent mathematical and calculation skills.
