Job description

• Work closely with Customer to understand project requirements and deliver seamless execution
• Execute & deliver the automation projects (Greenfield & Brownfield) using Symphony plus systems with Quality and within schedule
• Provide technical expertise in Symphony plus DCS system configurations, programming of HMI/ Control logic, testing, and functional verifications
• Generate Control logics, HMI screens & conduct testing and functional verification in Symphony plus system
• Prepare documentation for Pre-FAT & FAT and conduct Pre-FAT and FAT activities
• Support system commissioning, including pre-commissioning and troubleshooting as needed
• Execute Ethernet network configurations and communication protocols (OPC, Modbus, Profibus etc.) as needed
• Interpret P&IDs and control narratives. Prepare technical documentation including FDS, IO lists, operation manuals and test procedures
• Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety standards

Work Experience

• 10+ years of working experience in DCS system design & engineering with 5+ years of experience in ABB Symphony plus system.
• Good experience in Pre-FAT, FAT, installation and commissioning of DCS systems
• Good understanding of plant process control concepts, capturing the behavior of process and PID tuning relevance to process control.
• Good knowledge on ethernet network various communication protocols
• Proven track record in leading large-scale DCS projects, preferably in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or manufacturing sectors.
• Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player and able to guide & manage a team in project execution
