Role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a qualified Landscape Architect with 9+ years of on-site experience in stadium projects within the Mixed use/Building/Infra sector. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring construction activities comply with project specifications, quality standards and safety regulations.

Requirements

Technical Competencies:

  • Degree qualified in landscaping and preferably with a professional affiliation (or eligible for membership)
  • Minimum 12+ years relevant experience in Landscape/Horticulture Site Supervision, documentation and site implementation
  • Reviewing and checking all Landscape shop drawings, approving materials submittals & method of statement submitted by the contractor for construction. Providing solutions using SketchUp modelling. Site coordination and inspection.
  • Attending Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by the contractor and taking appropriate action in a timely manner.
  • Maintain records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as required.
  • Prepare Site Instructions (SIs) for deficiencies of work found at site and nonconformance reports (NCR) if required for development of events.

Behavioural Competencies:

  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Capable of working independently or within/leading a small team and creating designs relevant to the Middle East environment.
