Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Landscape Architect (Saudi National) to join our team! In this role you will assists and participate in Technical Support Section activities and tasks. Provide technical support, plan, design and provides technical input for proposals and studies in a specialized area with maintaining the technical adequacy, uniformity, and quality of the project designs in conformance with approved standards and codes, Including the ability to manage multiple tasks, Project submittals and deadlines.

Member of the Technical Support Section within Engineering Department. Reports to Landscape Discipline Supervisor. Interfaces with the Technical Staff within the Engineering Department and other departments as required

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provide landscape architectural input to related projects and programs.

  • Coordinate landscape architectural activities with activities of other disciplines.

  • Prepare technical specifications and scope of work descriptions.

  • Prepare Request for Proposal (RFP) documents with design concepts.

  • Provide technical assistance during pre-bid conferences, proposal evaluations, and post-award or other contract conferences.

  • Review A/E contractor design drawings, specifications, and calculations submittals, coordinates with the work of other disciplines and prepares written reports and review comments.

  • Perform field inspections and provides professional field support as necessary during construction phases.

  • Prepare technical correspondence, reports, and studies.

  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture (B.S.L. Arch.).

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; capable of presenting complex information clearly.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Proficient in preparing feasibility reports, design proposals, and advising on project practicality.

  • Familiar with specifying materials and understanding zoning regulations and landscape criteria.

  • Skilled in design and construction management principles, standards, and practices.

  • Membership in professional bodies such as ASLA is highly desirable.

  • Advanced knowledge of software tools including MS Office, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Civil 3D, Revit, InfraWorks, RainCAD, and 3D visualization tools (e.g., 3ds Max, Lumion, Revit).

  • Expertise in landscape architecture standards and codes (e.g., ASTM, ADA, ANSI, IBC).

  • Experienced in hardscape, irrigation, planting, site furniture, signage, lighting, and water features design.

  • Familiar with public realm design and placemaking strategies.

  • Knowledge of outdoor coating systems for various materials.

  • Capable of independently applying and adapting landscape architectural techniques.

  • Willingness to conduct site visits and provide technical support during construction.
