Eram Talent is looking for a creative and innovative Landscape Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and creating functional, aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces that meet the needs of clients while adhering to environmental regulations. As a Landscape Architect, you will collaborate with other professionals to develop site plans and landscape designs for various projects.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Landscaping, or equivalent from a recognized and approved program is required.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in gardening, landscaping, agriculture, or equivalent is necessary, including at least 5 years in horticulture, gardening, plantations, or equivalent.
- Responsibilities include directing research and experiments to identify land use problems, suitable plant varieties, techniques for nursery operations, and determining best methods for planting, spraying, cultivating, harvesting, storing, processing, or transporting agricultural/horticultural products, as well as pest and weed management.
- Guidance must be provided on planning and developing community projects, and on developing programs that achieve quality landscaping designs, effective implementation, and potential cost reduction.
- Support is required in developing training programs for staff personnel on the latest agricultural/horticultural technologies or methodologies, including plant insect and pest control.
- Tasks also include studying soil characteristics and developing improved measurement techniques, soil conservation methods, soil sampling devices, or other technologies.
- Designing work programs for implementation by Gardening, Landscaping, and Nursery personnel is necessary. Staff performance must be reviewed and advised on, with periodic reports prepared for supervisory review regarding work performance.
- Coordination and implementation of Integrated Pest Management programs to control horticultural and agricultural pests in all landscaped areas, including residences, is expected. Advising and instructing on plant pest control, conducting surveys, collecting samples, and studying plant pests and materials to improve control efforts are also part of the role.
