Job summary

A global manufacturing company in Dammam is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform specimen preparation and laboratory tests. Responsibilities include reporting results, resolving issues, and improving lab processes. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. Excellent English communication skills and knowledge of ISO 17025 are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs specimen preparation/laboratory tests according to applicable standards.
• Reports specimen/test results and checks against applicable specifications.
• Assists in the resolution of detected problems.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement of laboratory processes and proposes preventive actions.
• Verifies the application and development of safety standards.

Skills

Excellent communication skills in English

Knowledge in testing methodologies applied to steel material

Essential knowledge of ISO 17025
