Job description

Our client, one of the renowned hospitals in Saudi Arabia, is currently looking for a UK / Europe Based Midwife.

For this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

1. Assess patients through the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases of pregnancy.
2. Assess their nursing needs, considering medical, social, cultural, and family circumstances.
3. Communicate appropriately with patients in all pregnancy phases, as well as with spouses and families, and work in partnership with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
4. Detect labor symptoms in women and provide appropriate nursing care.
5. Monitor patients for contractions and fetal wellbeing.
6. Interpret CTG for contractions and fetal wellbeing.
7. Assist and support Obstetricians and Gynecologists in treating patients.
8. Assist and support Obstetricians and Pediatricians in treating newborns at delivery and when needed.
9. Ensure comfort and support to mothers and infants while executing midwifery functions.
