Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Job Description

This role is responsible for driving sales growth and developing customer relationships in the residential, commercial, and small utility projects segment. The role combines sales expertise with technical knowledge to effectively promote and sell company solutions. The candidate will work closely with the Sales Manager to achieve sales targets while leveraging technical understanding to support customer needs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Actively identify and pursue new and existing sales opportunities with PV & BESS EPCs, Developers & Consultants for residential, commercial, and small utility scale projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular communication, meetings, and follow-ups to drive sales growth.
  • Conduct customer visits to understand requirements, showcase products, and close sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure, including proposal development, negotiation, and contract finalization.
  • Collaborate with regional and overseas teams like engineering, product development, and marketing to align on customer needs and product enhancements.
  • Monitor and analyze customer requirements, preferences, and feedback to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Stay on top of industry trends.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our products and services to better upsell and cross-sell to clients.
  • Provide regular feedback to management about customer requirements and market demands.
  • Willingness to travel multiple times both domestically and internationally and attend industry-related events to support account management, attend client meetings, and collaborate with regional teams.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Availability when requested for a meeting or call by a customer is crucial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and continuously with customers.
  • Excellent presentation skills (customer management, C-level, decision-making level, or market regulators).
  • Organizational clarity and relations between all accounts and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion.
  • Time management skills (including reporting on time and requesting support when needed).
  • Energy-related degree preferred/related experience preferred (minimum 2 years).
