Kearney, KnowledgeNet (KNet) Technical Analyst - ME

About the job

As a Technical Analyst for our Dubai office, you will support all employees in utilizing the firm's standard technology to deliver immediate impact and create a competitive advantage for our clients.

Reporting directly to the KNET MEA Regional Manager in Dubai, you will have the opportunity to express your individuality and be recognized for your contributions, making a real impact and being a true Kearney Original.

Key responsibilities
  • Maintenance and repair of standard hardware and software.
  • Standard software installation and support.
  • PC setup and configuration.
  • Backups of Kearney laptops.
  • Server and network support.
  • Act as the contact for outside vendors.
  • Serve as the KnowledgeNet representative and technical contact for the Office Manager and local A.T. Kearney staff at any location (e.g., client sites, airports, hotels, home offices).
  • Provide orientation for new users.
  • Follow up on Level Two escalation for the Global Help Desk.
Asset Management tasks
  • Ensure proper approval, reflection in finance plans, and processing of all PC-related equipment orders for new hires using TrackIT.
  • Review and process invoices for equipment and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of delivery notes and serial numbers in the Asset Register.
  • Coordinate asset replacements and disposals according to policy.
  • Work with HR and Finance to ensure assets are returned upon employee termination or transfer.
  • Verify assets in the database and confirm their return.
  • Manage asset loan/shell swaps to minimize cycle time and ensure asset security.
  • Complete Lost Asset Reports and liaise with authorities if needed.
  • Maintain data security and confidentiality.
  • Hold spares for hot swaps and manage peripherals supply efficiently.
Non-Employees/Contractors
  • Manage IT assets and network access for contractors and temporary staff with Non-A.T. Kearney network IDs.
  • Ensure confidentiality agreements are signed before granting access.
Additional tasks include
  • Installation of non-standard software and hardware.
  • High-level user training and onboarding.
  • Office refurbishment, relocation planning, and implementation.
  • Troubleshooting for overhead projectors and electronic whiteboards.
  • PC equipment moves.
Who you are

  • At least 3 years of experience in a professional services or corporate environment, preferably with international exposure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.

  • Knowledge of Windows 10, 11, Windows Server 2008/2012, and Microsoft Office 2013, 2016, Office365 (especially MS Exchange and Outlook).
