Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

Serve as a key resource for all recreation activities facilitated on the property. Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities, which may include pools, beach, entertainment zone/game-room, fitness center, and child activities center. Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests to participate in recreation activities. Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests. Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facilities to ensure the safety and welfare of guests and members. Observe activity in the recreational facility and respond appropriately in accordance with local operating procedures in case of an emergency. Provide cashier services when working in facilities that include point-of-sales transactions. Assist with hosting private functions within the recreation facilities, including group activities and events. Be aware of situations where guests may not be able to participate safely and inform supervisors or managers. Provide assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive. Clean and maintain recreational facilities, equipment, and supplies.

Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the manager; complete safety training and certifications. Follow company policies and procedures; ensure a professional appearance; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Communicate clearly and professionally; answer telephones appropriately. Develop positive working relationships; support team efforts. Process payments for rentals, activities, and retail sales. Ensure quality standards are met. Read and verify information in various formats; visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects. Use computers and point of sale systems for data entry and retrieval. Be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; lift objects up to 25 pounds unaided and heavier objects with assistance; perform various physical movements including bending, twisting, and reaching. Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
