Job Description
- Design and implement fun, age-appropriate activities for children aged {AGE}
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children under your care at all times
- Organize and lead group games, arts and crafts sessions, and outdoor activities
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for children from diverse backgrounds
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized Kids Club area
- Communicate effectively with parents and other staff members
- Participate in special events and themed activities throughout the year
- Adapt activities to accommodate children with different needs or abilities
- Monitor and report any safety concerns or incidents promptly
- Contribute ideas for new and innovative children's programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in childcare or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with children in a recreational setting
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
- Creativity in designing and implementing engaging activities for children
- Ability to work with children of various ages and backgrounds
- Basic first aid knowledge and understanding of safety protocols
- Experience in organizing and leading group activities
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for working with children
