We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Key Accounts Manager who will manage the recruiting and development of Strategic Selling Partners on Amazon. This role will drive Selling Partner growth and satisfaction by delivering strategic insights and maintaining high operational standards. We are looking for a seasoned account manager to support our growing Account Management team, responsible for driving growth of brands and businesses on Amazon.
In this role, you will be responsible for all business and operational objectives in the Direct Seller Recruiting team, focusing on strategic partner acquisition. You’ll create and execute strategies to improve your book of business and deliver top-tier engagement with new selling partners. You will lead the recruiting and development of an individual portfolio, focusing on growth for strategic merchants within your product category.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Accounts Manager (Direct Seller Recruiting) is responsible for driving Selling Partner business growth and delivering a positive experience through the program. The key responsibilities include:
- Selling Partner Support and Business Growth:
- Identify, prospect, and recruit high-potential (strategic) merchants to Amazon.sa via phone or email.
- Prioritize and manage a pipeline of sellers to meet or exceed quarterly targets.
- Provide data-driven insights and advice to new sellers to optimize their success.
- Educate sellers about Amazon’s standards for Delivery and Customer Experience.
- Enable sellers to master Amazon’s tools and systems for efficient catalog, inventory, and performance management.
- Understand category specifics to identify trends, popular brands, and pricing strategies for tailored advice.
- Track, analyze, and report on business development results.
- Prioritize time effectively to achieve targets in a results-oriented environment.
- Collaborate with teams to improve business input metrics and customer experience.
- Coordinate operational support to Selling Partners across functions.
Selling Partner Relationship Management:- Build strong relationships with Selling Partners, develop joint business plans, and serve as a point of escalation.
- Monitor satisfaction surveys and feedback to identify improvement areas and manage expectations.
Program Process Excellence:
- Collaborate internally to improve tools and processes for better Seller experiences and productivity.
- Identify and define feature enhancements based on feedback and data analysis.
Leadership:
- Set high standards for Account Managers, prioritize strategic initiatives, and support escalation needs.
- Lead strategic planning and contribute to organizational success criteria.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align programs and initiatives.
- Lead recruiting and hiring efforts within the team.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of existing Amazon sellers and analyzing performance data for growth strategies.
- Building annual strategies with key sellers and providing operational solutions.
- Maintaining relationships with stakeholders and internal teams to resolve issues.
- Implementing scalable solutions and process improvements.
- Owning a specific subject area within the service organization to support peers and develop processes/tools.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 3+ years in sales, marketing, or related fields.
- Excellent English and Arabic communication skills.
- Degree in Economics, Engineering, or related; post-graduate preferred.
- Experience in consulting, key account management, digital retail/ecommerce, or related areas.
- Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel and database analysis.
- Ability to manage projects and thrive in ambiguous environments.
- Highly organized and results-oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Over 2 years of inside sales experience.
- Influence at all organizational levels, especially executives.
- Proven success exceeding sales targets with a solutions-focused approach.
- Experience working with legal, product, and business teams to reach agreements.
- Strong business judgment and influence skills.
- Experience with CRM tools.
- Creative, initiative-driven, and able to advocate effectively for customers.
