Job description

Role Purpose: Responsible for driving growth in the drilling and well stimulation chemicals business, managing customer relationships, and executing marketing plans within the O&G chemical industry. Accountable for achieving sales targets and sales objectives, managing key customer accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting the Sales Department. This role is crucial for maintaining strong customer relationships, analyzing market trends, resolving issues, and contributing to company goals.

Key Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Customer Relationship Management: Develop relationships with customers to understand their requirements and implement key account management plans for strategic clients.
  2. Sales and Market Analysis: Monitor sales growth and competitor activities.
  3. Issue Resolution and Customer Satisfaction: Address customer complaints promptly and effectively, resolving issues before escalation.
  4. Sales Team Support: Support the Sales Department in achieving and surpassing sales targets.
  5. Financial and Contract Management: Review contracts and tenders to identify risks, ensure compliance, and support product development and supply chain activities, including sourcing raw materials and qualifying products in Saudi, GCC, and MENA countries.
  6. Sales Control & Reporting: Prepare and submit sales performance reports and present findings to management as required.
  7. Team Management: Manage department staff, identify training needs, and coach staff to improve performance and stay updated on technical developments and regulations.

Necessary Knowledge and Experience:

  • Minimum of 4-5 years in a similar position
  • Strong commercial acumen with emphasis on project/services business
  • Product knowledge and management skills
  • Strong negotiating, analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited resources
  • Understanding of customer needs and market competition
  • Effective planning, organizing, and prioritization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including report and presentation preparation

Education and Certification: Bachelor's degree in Business Development, Marketing, or a relevant discipline or equivalent.
