Job description

DESCRIPTION

Are you passionate about e-commerce? Are you looking to join a community of business development professionals supporting the growth of small and medium-sized businesses? Or do you want to solve complex business problems with strategic impact for selling partners? Amazon, a global leader in e-commerce, is seeking a Key Account Manager for its Third-Party Marketplace team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

In this dynamic role, you'll focus on acquiring new merchants (50%) through prospecting via phone and email, recruiting them to bring their products, pricing, and availability to Amazon. The remaining 50% involves managing existing merchant accounts—helping them launch and grow on Amazon by guiding them through Amazon’s products, services, systems, and tools. You'll also use merchant feedback to identify opportunities for improving Amazon’s offerings and lead projects aimed at enhancing customer and seller experiences in Egypt, collaborating with regional teams to drive automation and scalability.

Successful candidates will possess strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, thrive in fast-paced and ambiguous environments, and be capable of working autonomously to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities include:
  1. Identify, prospect, and recruit high-potential selling partners to Amazon.sa Marketplace.
  2. Prioritize and manage a portfolio of selling partners to achieve product family goals using key metrics.
  3. Serve as a consultant to sellers, providing data-driven insights to optimize their success.
  4. Identify business opportunities by analyzing trends, popular brands, and pricing strategies.
  5. Conduct deep analysis on business performance issues and relay feedback into product and process improvements.
  6. Educate sellers about Amazon’s standards for delivery and customer experience.
  7. Track and report results, analyze data, and develop action plans for your portfolio.
  8. Collaborate with stakeholders to align programs that support seller growth.
  9. Lead projects that enhance customer and seller experiences in Saudi Arabia, partnering regionally to improve automation and scalability.
Program Process Excellence:
  • Improve tools and processes in collaboration with internal departments to enhance seller experience and productivity.
  • Identify and define feature enhancements based on customer feedback and data analysis.
Leadership:
  • Set high standards for Account Managers, prioritize strategic initiatives, and support escalation processes.
  • Define success criteria and understand business needs in a changing environment.
  • Partner with teams across categories, finance, and global management to drive growth.
  • Lead recruitment and hiring efforts within your team and organization.
Additional Responsibilities:
  1. Account Management & Growth: Manage existing seller portfolios, analyze performance, and develop growth strategies.
  2. Strategic Support: Build annual strategies with key sellers and address operational challenges.
  3. Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with seller stakeholders and internal teams.
  4. Program Development/Project Management: Implement scalable solutions and contribute to process improvements.
  5. Become an Expert: Own specific service areas and support peers with processes and tools.
